Sept 2019 - Tajikistan > > China > Pakistan

Hi all,

I am looking to get from the Stans to Pakistan in late Sept 2019.

The common route is obviously Kyrgyzstan to China to Pakistan

However, I have also found a company that does the trip from Tajikistan > China > Pakistan from the Kulma Pass crossing at TAJ which I believe works out cheaper and is also a day shorter (4 days total)

I am a solo rider on a motorcycle from Australia and hoping more can join me in order to lower the per person price

Please message me here or send me an email to [email protected]

Me and my wife are travelling in a van across the continent and want to do the same route,
and september 2019 could be perfect.
We are very interested in hearing what you found out!

I am Norwegian and my wife is Swedish, currently in Croatia. Planning to go to Iran in April.

We are a Swiss couple traveling in a truck and want also cross China in September 2019 to Pakistan. We prefer the route from Kirgistan (Irkeshtam Port or Torugart Port) - China - Pakistan, because we have already been in Tajikistan and want to see now the silkroad-city of Kashgar.
Is this also an option for you?

I am also interested! :) I am an Aussie rider on a CRF1000 and my partner will either be pillion or have her own motorcycle. We want to cross China to Pakistan end of August... and leave all of September for Northern Pakistan and Upper Himalaya Northern India... then October for Nepal.

If you are considering a similar route then a 'good to know' is that a few key passes close out for riders generally some time October... my brother and I have been caught out before riding into late October. Good to be Lower Himalaya or Nepal come October.

Be in touch!

I am also very interested in following the same route!
Late september works for me (since I want to be in India mid Oktober).

I'll keep following this!

I'm also a solo motorcycle rider from Belgium.

Hey guys,
i am planning to cross china in september on motorbike. As i can see so far there quite a few people with same/similiar plan so I created on facebook a group for everybody who wants to cross in august september from kyrgistan or tajikistan into pakistan.
I think its easier to connect and communicate and hopefully also organize the group(s).
So if you want to join :
or give me a shout :)
so far enjoy your trip planning or already the trip.

See you cruisin around in china ;-)

Hi everybody,
I'm starting early in August in Switzerland and hope to be Middle/Late September in Osh. So i'm very interested to join a Group for crossing the Chinese Border. Heading to Pakistan. Maybe to join somewhere on the Silk Road before?

Hi all - Sorry for the late reply here but I have gotten quotes from 5 different companies and have 3 people ( plus myself ) confirmed at the moment to do a crossing from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan via China in the last week of September

Tajikistan crossing seems to have too much uncertainty

Please drop me an email on [email protected] if you wish to join

I'll also drop a private message to the people above :)
