Fann Mountains in mid-September
Looking for trekking buddy to share cost of guide/donkey or if we're both comfortable with it, going at it independently. Will arrive in Dushanbe on September 15 and planning to head to the mountains the next day. I'm flexible with itinerary and looking for maybe a 3-6 day trek? If this fits with your plan, get in touch! Happy trails!

Could be keen. M 30 NZ.
Have to be out of Kazahkstan 15th September!
I have a month before I need to be back. Trying to decide how to spend time between trekking in Kyrgyzstan/Kazakhstan.
Have been reading up all day and see that hiking from Artuch (normal starting point of Fann Mountain trekking) all the way through to Iskanderkul. Seems to take about a week.
It would be possible to use mostly 'shared taxis' for this, unguided.
