Will be crossing for the 4th time from SEA to central asia on a bicycle
I am looking for one person willing to pay for my food(no alcohol,no smoking) + accodomation in exchange of my knowledge of the area + pacing you allowing you to get rid of the hassle of route/resupply/logistics
This crossing is quite intense..not much sightseeing en route as the 30day free visa waiver does not allow much
Best timing is June..flexible to +-1week depending on our respective location
No contract or obligation if after one day i or you feel like doing this on your own...totally fine
The idea to team up could be enough for a first timer to try this crossing...
Current plan is to ride to Yushu and furthermore to Golmud if Visa extension is denied in Yushu (what i expect it to be)
If Golmud denies the backup plan will be to take train or hitchhike/taxi out to Korgas (expected timing is to reach Golmud in 25days leaving 5days for exit/visa extension)
I have personally no intention to ride in Xinjiang anymore even if the visa extension is granted but if my food/accomodation is paid for why not...
This is 0 camping..i know the places where to find accomodation..no need camping gear.i do carry a tent but not planning to use it useless in an emergency case
Condition : be fit(non smoking),not injured ,able to enter china on a 30day free visa or more,bicycle must also be in condition, any bicycle issue must be fixed.
Maximum weight bicycle+gear must not exceed 30kg..ideally below 20kg
Willing to listen and obey to lead decision making
Be able to ride 100k+ everyday (sometimes less sometimes more depending on weather and condition) max 150k for one or 2 of the longest streches)
