Buying or renting bikes to cycle Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan

Hi guys,

Myself and my partner (both UK citizens) will be flying into Almaty (or elsewhere for the right bikes, no flights booked yet) at some point in the next 3 weeks and we are looking to buy or rent 2 bicycles and potentially some gear, panniers etc, for us to self navigate with around Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan for 2 months - does anyone here have any bicycles they will be selling around then? Or does anyone know any good rental companies for us to use? We’re also potentially interested in cars to buy or rent (i have posted in the other forum already but just in case!)

Hi! Did you end up finding a bicycle for rent or sale? I cannot think of an option myself, so if you found something, could be useful for future travelers.
