Buying a touring bicycle in China?

Hi all,
I have been the unfortunate victim of bicycle theft at the World nomad games in Kyrgyzstan this year. So now I'm planning to travel by train/bus to Chengdu and acquire another touring bicycle there. I am wondering if anyone has experience of buying a touring bicycle in China and what advice can you offer?
