a year and a half ago we bought 2 new Mustang Shinerays for about 680$ US in Khovd, and we bought the 200 cc to haul my heavy behind and my ridiculous 115l bag, food, 10l of gas, and food. They were outstanding, and only had to fix one flat (my fault for not monitoring the tire pressure and I got a pinched tire). Get basic tools (a 24mm, 19, 13, 10 mm wrenches), tire levers, a pump, an extra spark plug, an extra foot shift lever, 2 tubes, and a patch kit. That pretty much sums up your minimal tool kit. We went places those guys on BMW'S R1200GSA didn't dare venture. Not dissing the bimmers, I own a G650GS back in Canada, just that the Mustangs did awesome !

Let me know if you need more info. I plan on being back in UB between August 31st and September 23rd, buy a new motorcucle, sell it back, and travel North West, alone, but would be happy to have company !
