I'm timing a trip to Mongolia this summer to coincide with the Nadaam festival in July, but I can't find much information on how to buy tickets - anything I can find will only sell tickets as part of a full tour, which is very expensive.

Does anyone know if foreigners can buy tickets to the festival direct?

Hi from what I have discovered in my own research there's the main festival in UB but also many informal Nadaam festival celebrtaions in the villages before and after the main event.

I will be in Mongolia at that time for the same purpose - if you are interested in car pooling a taxi to visit somewhere in striking distance of UB for a local festival please DM me.
