Renting a horse in Gorkhi Terelj

Hi,

Can anyone provide any information on how easy it is to rent a horse and a guide for a few days horse trek in the national park. All the pre arranged tours have crazy high prices which we just can’t afford but this site mentions that they can be rented for more like $10 a day.

Does anyone have any experience of actually doing this? Can you just turn up and find a horse and guide on the day? We don’t ave loads of time to sort things out while we there so we would need to be able to arrange things quite easily.

I should really update that article, it is in need of attention. Honestly, don't trust the info in that article, it is a couple of years old. I don't know enough about that place to really advice you there. Apologies!
