subaru outback vs others (pajero or fortuner)

i know pajero or fortuner is more superior, but they are 200 usd higher than subaru outback.

the "difficult" places i plan to drive would be songkul, offshoots from issy kul, then cross the border to lake kaindy, altyn emel, assy plateau.

i also assume that if there are any car repairs needed, mitsubishi and toyota would encounter less barriers

so question is, is it worth paying the 200 usd extra, and why?

We did it with an old Forester, so take the Subaru, in my opinion the best car.
