Hi,
Through the forum I did not find answers to my questions. I found some interesting information but I need more to make a choice. Hope someone can help us...

We plan to buy a « Lada car » in Georgia and drive it back to France. It seems easy to buy it but I really don't know if crossing the borders of Turkey, Greece, Albania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italia, France would be possible. What kind of administration papers do we need to cross peacefully the borders ? Once in France, is there tax to pay ?

Some clue will be appreciated... Thanks for your help !!!

Miguel, I don't know all the answers, but usually it is illegal to own a foreign car while living at home.
And Greece or Italy are in Shengen zone, so once inside, you are okay.

But registering a vehicle in Georgia and drive out, you have to find somebody who did that.

Do you know how to fix basic issues of a car? This Lada might let you down a lot (but maybe you're lucky)
