Dubai-Iran ferries during Nowruz

was excited to learn there are ferries running from the UAE to Iran. But I read service is down during Nowruz. Does someone know the exact dates when there are no ferries? Does this include ALL ferry links to/from the UAE?
(I was told boats leave Dubai Mondays and Thursdays during the rest of the year, don't know when there are boats in the other direction.) Thank you!

Also, do you know if visa on arrival is currently issued at Bandar Abbas, airport and port? Read a forum post about a Norwegian being denied a visa despite numerous internet sources saying visas are available on arrival.
