Yeah, we'll probably stick to the southwest corner of Turkey for now. I was hoping there would be a good option for February, if our visa runs out. But if it is still cold in Georgia and North Iran (or anywhere else we could bring the car), it will probably be a case of just going for it and trying not to freeze our ass off.

Yes but it will still be cold. I think the best option, in terms of temperature, is to rush to Middle and Southern Iran. There it will be nice.
Continuing to Paksitan is also possible. But central Pakistan and going into India at Amritsar, that will be quite cold too.

There are advantages however. Such as not having so much mosquitoes.
We were in Islamabad and Amritsar area 2 times, once in December, once in August/September. It was hot and there were mosquitoes. We liked it more in December even though it was quite cold.

If you want to visit Ladakh and Kashmir, it needs to be summer.
Karokarom highway, to some extent, you can do it in winter (we did that in December, but only up to halfway, not to China)
