Flight Dushanbe Tashkent

Took the Dushanbe Tashkent flight w Uzbekistan Air today. On time, easy, good service, All perfect. It flies every Tuesday morning.

Very pricey though ($250 from memory). We found that the cheapest option was taxi to Khujand ($25) then fly to Dushanbe on Somon Airlines ($35/each). Alternatively you can share taxi all the way there in around 6-7hrs for $40 and the drive is really beautiful. It involves private taxi to Oibek border ($10), private taxi to Khujand ($15), shared taxi to Dushanbe ($15).

Only cost me $149 on line using Expedia. I did it because I had just done 8 days on the Pamir/Whakan and then a long day from Khorog to Dushanbe and I was tired of bum in seat. Money isn't everything.
