Coronavirus border closures & re-openings
Mongolia has closed its border with China "to cars and pedestrians" due to the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan.It seems that flights continue (for now). Also, the official wording implicates that trains continue to run for now as well, but I would not count on this.

Russia has now also closed at least parts of the border, although there is conflicting information whether this affects all or only some border crossings, especially crossings in the Primorje region might be still open.

Oh, and quite unsurprisingly, North Korea has also closed for tourism.

A journalist based in Central Asia has pointed out that land border crossings with China and Kyrgyzstan close every year for Chinese New Year. But we'll see if they reopen after the holiday is finished (which China just extended into an extra-long public holiday).

Kazakhstan has stopped all rail, bus and air transport with China.

Hi, is this a legitimate news source? It is saying Turkmenistan has closed two major border points with Uzbekistan- can’t see that anywhere else though. https://turkmen.news/news/turkmenistan- ... ekistanom/
