i am planning a trip to the stan's from belgium tru turkey and iran to enter turkmenistan but read that the iranian borders are closed to overlanders .
can somebody tell me if this is truth and how can i know when they re-open this year ??
planned to arrive in turkey by the end of september

Virtually all land borders are closed - pretty much anywhere you go these days. Even within the EU, things are becoming more difficult again right now. Some of the Stans have started opening their country for tourists who fly in - but not for overlanders.
I'm afraid any statements about open borders in September will be about as reliable as those made for the year 2057.
