Earthquake Sary-Tash (Murghab to Osh way, Pamir Highway)

Is the road, border or area open and accessible to foreigners? Is there danger?

Earthquake Sary-Tash (Murghab to Osh way, Pamir Highway)

Post by Travelphernalia »

Hello Everyone,

Heard today that there was a 6 something earthquake in the region of Saray-Tash. Does anyone know if this caused any landslides or border closures?

Cheers,
Gio

Seems to have done no damage to road infrastructure as far as the internet is concerned.

We was in Murgab during the earthquake and felt it. Two days after we went to Osh through Kyzyl art pass and Sary tash without any problem, so it's OK.
