Hi all,
Firstly, I have found this site very helpful so thanks for all the useful information.
I am in Tajikistan. A couple of friends and I were hoping to go to Uzbekistan over Navruz but we have heard that the borders are closed either side of holidays - I haven't read this anywhere, have only heard it. Can anyone confirm this??

This is a bit late, but yes, borders function normally during Navruz.
