Hello there,
I think I have a simple question but I did not find an answer to it. Manly because my internet is extremely slow at the moment...
Which of the Kzakhstan Usbekistan borders are open for bicycle. As is mentioned on the web page "self-drivers" should take the Konysbayeva / Yalama crossing. This would be somewhat inconvenient for me as it is a 200km detour to go to Tashkent. Is it possible to cross over the Chernayevka /Zhibek-Joly border?
I ask because bicycles are sometimes handled as pedestrians and sometimes as self-driven and sometimes as kind of both.
All the best from Iran!
