Driving a camper van along the M37 from Samarkand to Bukhara. The road is mostly a bad road. It has good parts but most of it is rough due to potholes and damages. We had to drive 20-30km/hour on the bad parts. Please note that local private cars :fly" over these roads.
My apologies if this question was covered somewhere else, but I could not find the trend.

The trains are fine and you can definitely get a decent sleep on them. Obviously the Bukhara-Samarkand and Samarkand-Tashkent trains are fairly short...
