Hello, everyone!
I'm looking to cross the Iranian border to Iraq at Khorramshahr/Abadan and transit directly to Kuwait. Assume that I can get an Iraqi transit visa; does anyone know about the possibility to cross at Khorramshahr/Abadan and into Kuwait at Safwan or Um Qasr?
My Iranian friends tell me there is plenty of Iranian/Arab crossing at Khorramshahr/Abadan, but are less sure how a European will be handled.
It seems it should be possible to cross at Safwan without too much trouble.
Best wishes,
fx

I have the following: Chazzabeh – Salamcheh: Definitely open for Iranians, but unsure about the status of this border for international travelers.
