Mountain hike Uzbekistan

Hello!
As I mentioned on another post we are going to Uzbekistan in few days.
We were thinking about going for a day tour through a light-medium mountain hike. What are the best options from Tashkent? Will Chimgan mountains be full of snow in 2 weeks time? Any other advice?

Chimgan would be the best option. Otherwise you could try Zaamin or Nuratau, or perhaps somewhere around Angren. But these are a bit further away from Tashkent.

I had a look at the forecast. It seems anything over 2500m will be in snow, anything under is supposed to be snow-free
