Stay in Oskemen

Hi there,

In a few days I'll stay a one to two nights in Oskemen to plan my time in this area of Kasachstan. Has anyone a recommondation for a nice place to stay?

What's your budget?

The best hotel in Oskemen is Turkish-owned and -operated Dedeman, but it's also the most expensive.

For a midrange budget, I recommend Shiny river. Cosy rooms, bit business-y, but really good breakfast.

For backpackers, I don't believe there is anything at the moment in Oskemen. There used to be a good hostel, but it closed down. Places like Irtysh are very basic, very Soviet. Cockroaches might be present.
