Car storage in Armenia?

I'm looking for good addresses for a long term storage of my car (small 2cv), safe, covered (inside a parking or garage) from end June 2019 til may 2020.
Please share if you know ;0)

Dear friend

I've found a private garage in Yerevan.

In fact I launched appeal on FB groups for expats in Yerevan or for "re-pats" (Armenian coming back to their country of origin).
Very friendly people.

I got 4 proposals in total. Between 25usd/month til 450€/year.

did you buy an insurance for 12 months, or how did you handle insurance for parking your vehicle for 12 months?

I'm back (by plane) from Armenia, leaving the car in Yerevan for 11 months.
In my case, I just bought a 15days insurance, as the car will not be in use during that time.
When I'll go back in March 2020, i'll send a new insurance.
Hope this can help.

By the way, I see you are planning the same system as we are (long storage inArmenia and Iran..) Let's exchange in MP too if you want.

hello

some feedback on our Armenia experience (june 2019). as positive as Viking's one.

At the border with Georgia (via E691 - M1) an older officer (very friendly with 4 stars on the shoulders) understood very wel our project and helped us to get the 1 year TIP without problem. This gentleman explained the youngest ones that it was legal and possible because they didn't seem to be really aware of that.
Thanks to him the formalities went very smooth and the car is now stored in Yerevan til March 2020.
We paid the "ecological tax" of about 5€ (at the bank desk in the building) and took an insurance for 15 days at another desk.

I think asking on FB like PetiteJeannette is a good way to go. Do let us know if you find a good spot, a lot of people have asked the same question but few have bothered with writing down the details. Would be very useful for future travelers.

Hi everybody. We just arrived in Armenia. Need a place in Yerevan or nearby for the storage of our car. We want to park it safe and covered here until March. We will pick it up and drive back to Europe after. Any experiences, suggestions or even contacts for that? Best regards, Nils
