Almaty to Altyn Emel 2 day trip between 17-20 Aug.

Hi, we're planning to rent a 4x4 this week to go to Altyn Emel with an overnight stay. We're 2 people, so would have space for 2-3 more. We'd plan to stay overnight somewhere in Basshi village, which we've heard has guesthouses. Exact dates are flexible (could be 17&18th, 18&19th, or 19&20th).

Also happy to join others who already have a car and can share the driving (if the rental agreement allows).

We are 2 ppl and we are looking to do the same trip but sadly only arrived in almaty last night would be available from the 20 to 24th. Would the 20th and 21st also be a possibility for you guys ?

We just went yesterday . We opted for a guide (more info on a PM I sent you) and went for just one day. All car rental companies we contacted were booked out. It actually worked quite well as a one day tour. We left Almaty at 5am and returned at 8pm. Leaving at 6pm would have made more sense as we waited 40mins for the park office to open (9am). Would be possible to do in a day with your own car too. It was definitely worth it. Particularly the singing dune!
