Hi everyone,
I am planning a trip, spring 2017, and would like to know if anyone here has crossed the border: Denau-Tursanzade. What is the best way to get from Samarkand to the border? Is there maybe matrushkas to a city that is close to the border and then I would just take a cab to the border and then another one from to Dushanbe after the border crossing?

Edit: for people finding this old forum post via Google, things have changed considerably since when this post was made. Penjikent is much quicker.
