Hi Aigerima,
Just to share with you my thoughts on the tour: it was absolutely amazing!! I’ve made a lot of these tours around the world and I can tell that Yerzhan was one of the best guides I have ever had!!
Not only he was very professional and with strong know how but also very kind and cautious!!
I absolutely loved!!!
Thank you
Dear Aigerima,
Thank you so much for organizing a 5-day tour to Mangystau.
Everything was perfect! I’ll never forget my time here.
I also would like to thank my guide Ruslan who made my tour to Mangystau region one of the best I have ever done!!!
Wish you all the best!
Hi Aigerima,
The trip went beyond our expectations. We had a really great time. The guide showed us incredible places and viewpoints. He was also a very good cook and
could answer every question we had. Also a great plus about him was that he environment and removed plastic bottles along the way. If our friends would go to Kazakhstan, we would strongly recommend this tour and our guide.
So Thank you and many tanks to our guide because we Will remember this trip.
Yes, the tour was amazing. I very much enjoyed it. The driver was very thorough and very organised which I enjoyed. It is a truly unique place. Thank you for helping me to organise it so quickly. The couple that was with me was also very nice.
Again, thank you for everything.
Dear Aigerima
Thanks for asking. Yes, the Adventurous Mangistau tour was great. The landscapes were overwhelming. The pace of the tour was comfortable.
The Guide did a great job. He is not that type of an endless speaking guide. I like that. Nevertheless, whatever we asked about culture, geographic, wildlife and so on – the Guide knew the answer.
He drove the whole tour without the help of any maps and missed not one single path. He also manged to get the car repaired timely on day two.
Only thing I probably can criticize was that he insisted that we only need sandals on the tour, no hiking shoes. That was true for 95%. But walking up the ledge Dreadnought definitively would have been easier (and more secure) wearing good footwear.
Again, the whole tour was a great pleasure. I would recommend it to everybody who likes great landscapes and is in a good health.
Dear Aigerima,
thank you very much! Everything was good; Islam was superb, the transfer to Tashkent was perfect and Alex showed us Tashkent in a very intensive manner!
Again, thank you very much and all the best to you!!
Best regards!
Stephan
My boyfriend and I had an incredible time visiting the eagle hunter (Arman) and his family. This tour is exactly as promised in the description! When we arrived at Arman’s house, his wife was cooking baursaki (savory doughnuts) over an open fire in the backyard. My boyfriend helped her make them, and they were delicious! It was too chilly out to have lunch in the yurt, but we were given a lesson on the yurt’s construction and cultural significance. We then tried our hand at archery (with varying success), a traditional Kazakh game of throwing sheep bones, and horseback riding. Perhaps the most special part of the afternoon was getting the chance to meet (and hold!) Arman’s decades-old prize hunting eagle, which was passed down from his father. It was simply magical. We were then invited into Arman’s home to enjoy horse milk, do a traditional Kazakh dance, and eat a feast of beshbarmak. Aigerima secured us a fantastic English translator who gave us a running commentary throughout it all. I can’t recommend this tour enough! It was simply the highlight of our visit, and an experience I will never forget.
Thanks again for everything! I do hope we get to come back to Kazakhstan again. :)
Day trip to Kazakh family of Eagle hunters in Astana
Hi Aigerima,
Our guide, and the driver were very nice. The tour was also very interesting. I have already sent photos of the tour to our friends, and will be glad to recommend you.
Best Regards,
Behrooz
After touring down the Wolga River from city to city we had a very nice trip out in the wild of Mangystau Region. It was a very good adventure for all of our family (parents and two toddlers in the age of 3 and 5y) .
On our tour through the Mangystau region we have spotted wild animals such as Eagles, Antelopes, Scorpions, Snakes, Foxes. We discovered an impressive landscape. We have been swimming in Oasis, Rivers and the Caspian See. And we spent all our nights in tents. We have remaining memories to a great adventure in Kazakhstan.
Thanks for that!
My 2-day tour of Otrar and Turkestan went far beyond my expectations. My guide Islam was very knowledgeable, and trustworthy – important for a solo traveller. He has a deep interest in and knowledge of the history of the area, which helped bring the ancient sites of Sauran and Otrar to life. Aigerim, the colleague of Nazgul, who helped with booking my flight and train was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend Aigerim and Islam to others.
I had a really enjoyable tour around Almaty organised by Nazgul. The guide was fun, friendly and knowledgeable about his country and Almaty.
The driver was nice and friendly also. But the car was a real banger and had no seat belts! Maybe acceptable for local taxi standards but I had expected better as my tour around Almaty was organised through a travel agent.
Thank you for your good service!. My travel in Kazakhstan was amazing !
The tour in Mangistau was amazing! It was beyond my expectation.
I really thank you for your services.
Ruslan was also good. His English was basic and it was rather difficult to make conversations, though we could communicate somehow.
Moreover, he was an attentive guide and also a good photographer. I enjoyed traveling with him.
I’d like to recommend my friends to travel with you in Kazakhstan.
Tour to Altyn Emel & Charyn Canyon in August:
Good service. We got a good car and a nice driver with good English. He was cooking for the first time with us, but we enjoyed a lot :)
Dear Nazgul,
We had a magical time in Baikonur, thank you! Lubov and the team were fun and efficient. The launch was awesome and we loved the tour around the town and the cosmodrome. Meeting cosmonaut Nikolayevich Yurchikhen was an unexpected and delightful bonus!
We are thrilled with the experience and the service you provided!
If budget is not your main concern, I can highly recommend the Mangistau-Tour with Vladimir, it is worth the price!
I really enjoyed that the tour was well planned and organised. Communication with Nazgul was fast and easy; pick-up from the airport, hotel, city-tour and desert-tour went 100% as planned, so we had no stress, no discussions, no uncertainties whatsoever. I really need to mention this, because I have had some other experiences with other tours recently (none of which are advertised on the caravanistan website, so don´t worry).
Vladimir is a great guy and you can tell, that he loves the area and is dedicated to his job. Unlike some other guides I´ve had, he was always happy to stop for a photo, tried to answer all of my questions, gave us time to explore the places in our own pace and he seemed to always know, what he´s doing (which is really important, because the trip takes you far away from streets and help. If you happen to have a flat tire in the desert at high-noon with 40°C and no shade at all, you don´t want to get stuck with someone unprofessional).
As for the journey itself: I have rarely seen more bizarre, beautiful and extraterrestrial landscapes than on this trip. It is really as beautiful as on the photos you´ll find. And you have the area nearly to yourself: Although it was the end of high season, we didn´t meet a single(!) person at the main attractions (except for the mosques, of course). At night, when we camped in a canyon, there was no sound of any other human being, no airplane, no car, no voices, not even a dim shimmer of a remote settlement on the horizon. The nightsky was the most spectacular I have witnessed so far; and having been to a stargazing tour near Alice Springs in Australia, I know what I am talking about.
Hi Nazgul,
We had an exceptional time with Vladimir on our Mangistau tour. He did a fantastic job as a tour guide and was very attentive to our needs and those of our children. It was truly an outstanding experience and will be definitely recommending you to our colleagues in Astana.
Thank you so much for organizing such a great trip.
Thanks!
Jamal
Comparing to a Russian company which offered a tour for 3500 EUR, Thanks to Nazgul we`ve got much better deal! almost 3 times cheaper. The service starting from meeting us in the airport, drivers, guides and excursions were well organized. We received clear instructions about filming during the launch of Souyz MS-06. Seeing the rocket going up to the night sky was truly exceptional experience! my dream came true!
We had a great trip to Baikonur in June 2017. You can obtain your permission to visit the sight from Nazgul. There are many travel agents on the Internet who are doing it at a price of 2500 euros. Mostly, they are Russian intermediaries who really make money on it. This Kazakh travel agency costs $ 600 per person. The price includes everything: accommodation, full board, transportation, sightseeing tours and museums, guides and missile launch tracking.
