Oqsaroy: The White Palace. For 25 years, this was the place from where Uzbekistan was ruled. Death sentences were issued here for humans, ecosystems and the economy.

And thus you can visit. The museum inside the Oqsaroy is not open yet (do let us know if you get in), but the annex exhibition hall is. There are 2 rooms: one contains photographs of president Karimov mostly carrying official functions, while the second room has a series of wild surrealist paintings of Karimov, and a few of his wife.

If the museum is closed, you can still take a selfie with the golden statue of Karimov, Islam.

How to visit

- Open from 9 am to 9 pm every day except Monday. Entrance is free.
