Hi all, I am new to this forum. I am planning a trip to Uzbekistan during Christmas this year. I plan to travel from Tashkent to Khiva via train. The train has the luxury coach which has two berths per compartment and the website mentions that it is air-conditioned. There is a cheaper option with Kupe ( 4 berths per compartment ), but the website mentions that it is not air-conditioned. Can someone please confirm whether the kupe compartment will be heated given it is an overnight train and I don't have much experience with harsh winters.
heating is a different matter than air-conditioning. All classes in all trains in Uzbekistan have heating, while not all are air-conditioned. You should rather expect the train to be heated stronger than you would expect it to be in "western" countries.
