We're 2 cyclists who would like to travel from Latvia to Moscow/Russia beginning of September. We are a bit short on time, therefore we'd like to take a transportation from either any place in Latvia or right after the border in Russia to Moscow, including our 2 bikes and luggage.
We researched on train and bus websites and it seems quite difficult to find a company which takes us and our bikes on board.
Does anyone have experience with transporting the bike on train/bus from Latvia to Moscow or know what is the best way to do it?
Do truck companies offer space for people with bikes?
Is hitchhiking before or after the border a possibility?
