Anyone got any leads on alcohol?

Do the pharmacies stock 90% alcohol maybe?

Yes, all the pharmacies sell stuff labelled as 96% alcohol BUT I tried to use it last year and found the water content was actually way too high and it was unusable as it didn’t burn for very long or very hot and left a lot of water inside my stove. I tried three brands from three pharmacies and all had the same issue. Other than pharmacies I checked in a couple of gas stations and a paint shop for other denatured alcohol but didn’t find anything usable.

I don’t know when you’re going to Tajikistan, but I’ll be there at the end of next week and intend to try pharmacy alcohol again to see if I can find any that burns properly. If it’s still relevant to you I’ll post again after that to update.

Anyone interested: pharmacy alcohol still full of water and unusable. I asked around in the bazaar for other alternatives and didn’t find anything.
