crossing china border with motorcycles

Hi guys,

In one month I'm starting my long trip from Italy to South east Asia . I've many doubts...

First step wanna be reach Vladivostok and then I would like crossing China border but I ve read that is not too easy and cheap with own motorcycles.

I know that...

- I ve to get a chines driver license
- I ve to join with an other travelers group
- It really expansive


But I didn't t plan nothing... So I know that is better get visa before but I m travelling always without plan.
Can I do something ?

Crossing China is not necessary, I would like reach SE Asia and I can change the way.
I thought Pakistan but maybe is not so safe that way....
