The embassy is moved and is now located at plechanova street, nr 18, near vadanosos bazar. Telephone number: 224 7028. Website: http://www.azembassy.tj. Opening hours: mon-fri, 9-12 and 1 to 5.
We applied for a transit visa and got it the same day. They gave 7 days for 70$ each. Belgian nationality. The ambassador was friendly and spoke good english. Note: the next day he left for his summer holidays, so it might be that this made the processing faster.
