Hey there
I'm travelling solo through Mongolia atm (female, German, 33) and I really want to go trekking through the Altai mountains in Western Mongolia. My visa is only good until mid May so I have to go before that
It can still get quite cold in May so I don't dare to do it by myself. I've booked a 9 day guided tour from Ulgii from the 6th of May until the 14th. It includes horse trekking and climbing Malchin Peak by foot from the base camp on one day. Horses, guide, cook, food and packing camels are included.
If anyone would be interested to join, let me know! I can share the detailed itinerary. The price for 2 people would 1250 USD/pp.
Would be great to have some company (but heads-up: I'm more of the slow and steady hiker. You won't find me running up any peak;))
Cheers,
Janina
