Train Kazakhstan - Turkmenistan - Iran

I've read about a new train line that has opened a couple of years ago from Uzen in Kazakhstan to Bereket in Turkmenistan and ending in Gorgan in Iran. The articles about the opening of this railway line also talk about the possibility in the near future to let passenger travel via this line. Does anyone have any experiences with this railwayline? Thanks in advance

I will check with Provodnik who is our resident train expert, but I think it is only cargo traffic for now.

No passenger train services are operated there, and I doubt that anything regarding that will change in the near future. The line was built for freight transportation and and it doesn't connect densely populated areas, soI don't think there is actually enough demand to operate passenger trains.
In general cross-border traffic is restricted in Turkmenistan, a few international passenger trains like Moskva - Asgabat existed untill maybe 2000, but since then no internationaal passenger trains are operated. And I'm also not aware of any international bus lines from Turkmenistan. The only form of international public transportation is an airplane and the Caspian sea ferry. Land borders require usually taxi + walk + taxi.
