Does anyone know a place that sells 2nd hand skigear in Bishkek?

Hi Sakara,

I don't think there is a place that specialises in 2nd hand ski gear. You can ask the expat community in Bishkek if someone can borrow you their stuff for a while. Otherwise, tour operators and ski resorts rent out ski gear.

I don't want to rent as I ll use it for snowkiting in kyrgizstan, tajikistan, kazakhstan and russia - so I wont be able to return it in the end;-)

Second-hand sites perhaps your best bet, or ask tour operators or resorts if they want to sell you some of their old equipment.

I just bought second hand skies and shoes at gergert sport today (tip from my couchsurfing host). They have some for sale at their old store (its 100m from the new, where they also have the rental).
Prices are considerably more expensive than second hand material in Switzerland, but still way cheaper than new. You need to ask the staff for 2nd hand, its not on display.
I could imagine that other places that rent skis also sell 2nd hand.
