Temirlik canyon (Almaty region)

Hi!

Does anyone know how to get to Temirlik canyon and the confluence with Charyn river, from the point where Temirlik river meets the road going from Kegen to Shonzhy? Is there a track (and if so, suitable for what kind of car?), or a footpath? How long is it supposed to take (approximatively!) from the main bridge - and isn't it too rash to venture there alone?
