Bradt guide say that there is a taxi-kiosk where you can buy a taxi-voucher. This is no longer true. At the tourist information they told me, that the kiosk no longer exist. Good news for the taxi-mafia. One man is waiting for you and it seems that no matter what you do, you will end in his car.

First, i asked at the tourist information the price (4000 - 5000 tenge). The man standing next to me, he followed me since my arrival. Even i talk to him many times, he should let me alone. Outside, i went to a driver, the guy followed me. The driver said, that i should take another car, so i followed him, the man to. Finally it was the car of this man. They asked for 14500. I left, both guys walked with me, shouting other prices. I went to the next official taxi, got in and asked the price. But there was again the man at the door, who startet to talk about the price, not the driver. I said many times, that he should go, finally he gave up. I paid 5000. It seemed to me, that the drivers are well organized to rip off tourists.

My advise is, go direct to the first official taxi driver and talk only to the driver.

There is, but a lot of flights arrive at night and as far as i know the bus doesn't run at night.
Furthermore, while in summer maybe no big deal, but when you arrive at night with -35 outside it is not really that attractive to walk from a bus stop to your hotel a few blocks further

Wrt to the taxi fares, i don't know how it is now in the new international terminal, but in the 'old' (now domestic) terminal I have been there often in 2016-2017, there used to be a counter in the corner of an offical taxi service, you would order it there and the taxi fair would be normal.

Three buses # 10, 12, 100 Express going to the city. Can check their routes on 2gis app or site.
But they don't operate at night.

do you have to walk far from the arrival terminal to meet the yandex taxi driver?

there is reliable free wifi at astana airport (international terminal)?

Walk out the door. The terminal is the size of gym.

Regarding WiFi I suspect you need a local phone number like everywhere else in this country. Requires ID.
