I'm from Poland and I'm going to visit Kazakhstan (alone) at the end of May and I'm looking for a car rental company to rent a car which I could drive myself (without renting a driver) outside of Almaty city (e.g. Charyn Canyon or Kolsai Lakes).
I know that Avis offers car rental service from the Almaty airport but I wonder if they allow to drive outside of Almaty city or if they have any other limitations that not allow me to make my plans happen.
Any other car rental company you can recommend that allow to rent a car to drive outside Almaty city and that communicate in English (unfortunately I don't speak Russian)
anyone can share companies that allow travel from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan and back? pick up and drop off Almaty but with cross border privilege

the cars you mentioned are found more often in Kyrgyzstan, not Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan has limited options. in fact i have to reroute my whole journey...
