Hilarious!

I have worried about all the re-branding: Air Astana, Astana cycling team, Astana football team, ... Gotta start from zero again with Air Nur-Sultan.

Apparently he is being retired permanently.

Tried today to touch HIS golden hand in the tower. Tradesman told me "remont" thus closed. By the looks for more than a few days.
This can happen, but call me suspicious, on the way back I wanted to pop into the Nazarbayev museum on Abay Pr.
That's closed too. No more sign on gate, army trucks in yard. The pictures of him still on panels in adjacent park.

Update: tower was open day after. Alas no fridge magnets of HIM nor any mention.
