E-Visa - Application Uzbekistan

Hey,

I found an e-visa application link here: http://evisa.mfa.uz/evisa_en/

I'm in china as an Irish citizen and planning for a trip including Uzbekistan in October/November.

Does this work? I'm not a preferred country so I still need a LOI but does this form allow me to collect a visa on entry across land?

It's not an e-visa (there's no such Thing in UZ), but an electronic application form (the Standard one, in fact) that you print and present at the embassy (or the visa desk at Tashkent Airport, if going for a visa on Arrival).

Visas on Arrival can only be obtained at Tashkent Airport and maybe Termez (coming from Afghanistan), and your LOI must indicate the relevant POE as the place of visa issuance. Otherwise, you Need to apply at an embassy
