Kungrad: Reports and Q&A
Re: Kungrad: Reports and Q&A
Stayed at Daniyarova Guesthouse, just across the car park of the train station. No signs on the building, but you'll walk into the cafe bit and ask for a room. They started at ten dollars, but was able to bargain to 60000sum for a bed and breakfast (two eggs, bread and instant coffee). Simple and clean room with 3 beds though I was alone in it. Lockable door. No WiFi. Cafe was quite good and cheap priced. Squat toilets in an outdoor block, and shared shower available, though I'm not sure when it was available and when not as it was locked in the morning but available in the evening. Only a 30 second walk to the train station in the morning was perfect!

Daniyarova Guesthouse now has strong wifi! We bargained down to 200K som (15USD) for a couple, without breakfast. It's a decent room with private, clean, bathroom. The son speaks a bit of English. We had an ok meal at the Legenda Restaurant.
