Hi all,
Been toying with the idea of travelling from Portugal to India overland (buses, trains, taxis). Have an Indian passport w/ US visas and been residing in EU for past number of years (no residency yet or citizenship). Is crossing from Almaty from Ürümqi realistic, or is an Indian passport going to cause issues due to chilly relations b/w China and India? Highly doubt I will be spending much time in Ürümqi at all except maybe one night in a hotel.
Also concerned if the trip might affect immigration prospects to the US since I'm planning on moving there in the near-ish future. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks
Travelling overland to China with Indian passport- possible?
Re: Travelling overland to China with Indian passport- possible?
Hi yes,
the Indians passport holders doing the overlanding via China now; one famous youtuber (Indian Backpacker/Anmol Jaisawal) is right now passing through China to Laos and ultimately to Australia in his Indian registered car
So, don't think it should be an issue with you.
