Are there any known settlements of Afghan refugees along the border of Tajikistan?

If possible and permitted, I’m interested in doing a documentary story about some of them.

Not in the Pamirs. I don't know about the Western side of the border.

They’re almost entirely in Vahdat, just east of Dushanbe. That’s where the government wants them to stay (and definitely nowhere near the border).

Thank you, I didn’t realize that there was a refugee camp in this area.

It’s not a “camp,” but rather a restricted residency requirement. They’re in regular apartment blocks and free to move around.
