My sister and I want to go to the stans next May (2024). We are planning to go to Uzbekistan and hope to go to Turkmenistan as well. But, of course, that is assuming we can get in. And, if we can, I don't know if I could go because of my medications. I take anti-anxiety meds (Effexor) and cannot ski it for even one day. Would I be allowed in with that? Ideally, we would fly into Ashbat, then cross into Uzbekistan via Khiva. We could do the opposite, but I think I would be super stressed the whole trip that we would have a problem at the end, so would prefer to do Turkmenistan first.
I have reached out to the embassy and Owadan and neither replied.
Can anyone help?
Medications in Turkmenistan
Re: Medications in Turkmenistan
I'm very much interested in entering Turkmenistan but have epilepsy and obviously need to regular take anti epileptic medication - if I have a doctors let us stating that I require it for my medical health etc etc, would they recognise that and therefore let me enter with my anti epileptic medications?
