Turkmenistan open to tourist 20-30 Sep?

Hi guys

I've heard that Turkmenistan will be closed from 20 to 30 Sep due to independence day celebrations and that no LOI will be issued for travelling in the country during this period. is this true? I have a tour confirmed for travelling during this period but now I'm not sure if I should cancel.

Hi

I am in contact with a travel agent who said that I should come by 10 September. I think the Turkmenistan Independence Day is 27th September. .

I am now tentatively planning on going around 10 September, for 6 days/5nights.
