Armenia: visa-free for Canadians?

Hello, I am wondering if Armenia is now visa-free for Canadian citizens. I have just read this post: https://armenpress.am/eng/news/939112

This is the most up-to-date info on the Caravanistan section for Armenian visas for Canadians, but it does not say whether the law was actually enacted as planned. Can I presently, as a Canadian citizen, enter Armenia and stay up to six months without a visa?

EDIT: On the Republic of Armenia MFA website, it says that Canadians still require a visa on arrival, which is only good for a maximum of three weeks: https://www.mfa.am/en/visa/

Yea, that is correct. It seems that law was never enacted. Spoke too soon there. I edited the article.

Hello!

We are Canadian and we travelled in Armenia 10 days ago. We were convinced that it was visa-free for canadians. But, at the border they confirmed us that is was not visa free (you will have the info on travel.gc.ca). We received our visa at the border where we paid directly. It was 3000 drams (around 10 CAD) for 21 days. It was possible to take transit visa for 5 days (more expensive than the 21 days tourist visa) and 120 days. All of the visas where single entries (if my memory serves). You can go on https://evisa.mfa.am/ to ask for evisa!
