Guided Tour through China from Tajikistan to Nepal in August

Hi all,

finally our wishes have been granted and China opened its borders for tourists!
I am going to travel through China from Tajikistan to Nepal in August.
I'm travelling with my girlfriend in my own car and we are looking for cars to join us.

• When?

The tour begins in the first week of August and will last 26 days.

• Where?

Starting point: Qolma (Kulma) Pass, Tajikistan.
Ending point: Kodari Border, Nepal.
The tour will go through the Taklamakan desert and Tibet, I made a map of the waypoints (not 100% accurate):

• Who?

We will travel with Adventuretour China, since they have been recommended a lot and are active in this forum.
They can also help us with the visa application and all the other formalities.
They recommend the group size stays between 3-6 cars.

• How much?

The price may vary a bit, since I got the quote last year.
1 vehicle: 7540$ per vehicle
2 vehicles: 4360$ per vehicle
3 vehicles: 3400$ per vehicle
4 vehicles: 2880$ per vehicle
5 vehicles: 2600$ per vehicle
6 vehicles: 2390$ per vehicle

We saw your post about crossing china from Tadjikistan to Nepal.
we are maybe interested...
Did you already found other travelers that join you?
Does the travel agency organise the visas for us or do they just help?
And are they coming with us over the border or not.
