Well, let's see... this is the plan at least according to what I have been told.

Annother train to Khiva from Bukhara (Bukhara 12:05 - Khiva 17:50/Khiva 08:45 - Bukhara 14:48). Runs every other day (even days in the direction of Bukhara, odd days in the direction of Khiva), the train has three different classes, all seats, appears quite modern (no Afrosiyob though).

hi I was wondering about the train from Khiva to Bukhara - does it pass through Turkmenistan? My boyfriend is panicking that the trains are going through Turkmenistan and that we need a transit visa...

Hello!

We are planning to take the train from Bukhara to Khiva (which I am finding train times for) but I cannot find train times for the return from Khiva to Bukhara. Do any of you know the time tables for this route? I'm just using this info for planning and understanding if there are certain days of the week we will need to plan to be en route.

Thank you Milad. Sadly, I don't speak Russian, though am going to try to learn a few phrases that might be helpful while there. I was able to translate the site with Google (a fairly good translation) and was able to get the information I sought. Thanks again for your help.
